When it comes to textured hair, many people think that one type of product is suitable for all these textures. But it’s not! Every type of hair, from 2A to 4C, has its own specific needs, due to a tight curl pattern. In fact, André Walker defined a hair classification in order to adapt the care of each type, because there are all unique! Therefore, a very coily hair will naturally be drier than a wavy hair. The natural sebum can't go all the way down the hair! Wavy hair will certainly be less dry but will tend to get greasy more easily. Lightweight, moisturizing products are a must. A hair routine: 4 essential steps
As we said before, a hair routine as simple as 1, 2, 3 and 4!
First of all, cleaning the hair: the accumulation of toxins but also styling products throughout your week requires regular washing. When we say regular washing, we mean about 1 to 2 washings per week, to avoid drying hair. Our range is composed of three shampoos : Le Bubble Dream, a gentle shampoo for children, Perfect Clean, a moisturizing shampoo and Sunshine Clean, a skin-softening and purifying shampoo. Take your pick.
Second, detangle the hair. What seems to be the worst step for many, turns out to be easier with the right gestures: in the shower, once you've applied your Pink Paradise conditioner, you can detangle your hair with a brush or your fingers to "slide the knots out" and not break them, as would be the case when dry.
Third step, moisturize: this step should not be neglected because it allows the hair to soften and thus find its natural shape. Several products in our range are designed to moisturize, depending on your hair type: Kurl Nectar will moisturize and protect your curly and wavy hair and Smoothie* will moisturize and shape coily and kinky hair.
Finally, the fourth and last step is to nourish and seal in the moisture! How do I do it? For wavy, curly and coily hair, the Boost Curl will be perfect to hold moisture et allow it to stak in the fiber. Kinky hair will need a more nourishing product to hold moisture but also strengthen the fibers. Butter cream Magic Twist will be perfect!
