My Hair My Power mouvement: wavy, curly, coily and kinky hair assumed
You are seeing a revolutionary movement being born on social medias, on TV, in the streets of Paris? This is just the beginning! At Les Secrets de Loly, our goal has always been to help our community take charge of their hair and thus assume their uniqueness. We have always advocated self-acceptance and the promotion of all textures: wavy, curly, coily and kinky.
Today, it's a big first! Les Secrets de Loly wants to show a vision of beauty that we are not used to seeing in the media, the powerful beauty of women and their textured hair!
The movement is launched! Would you like to join it ?
On all our social medias, the #myhairmypower is being promoted so that textured hair is seen and admired! We are everywhere and we are beautiful!
More than a campaign, a revolution!
If you haven't already, you're about to hear about the movement! Since September 26, 2022, our TV spots have been airing on M6 during the series Scènes de ménages where we share the journeys of unique, powerful and radiant women. As with our first commercial in 2020, you'll be able to see their faces in several locations in Paris over the next few days. Have you seen us? Feel free to share it with us by tagging @lessecretsdeloly with the #MyHairMyPower !
We want to revolutionize not only the French media but also the visibility of textured hair in France! Today, more than 6 out of 10 people in the world have textured hair, and yet this is not the representation we see on a daily basis. So, we want to make things happen in the continuity of our daily work. Let's make room for everyone's hair beauty and dare to show your hair!
A movement initiated by Kelly Massol
Kelly Massol, the founder, has been talking about this movement for years. Since her first products in her kitchen in 2009, she has been committed to helping women (but also men, who are more and more numerous) to understand and assume their hair. This is obviously done through adapted and natural products, but also by sharing her experience as a coily-haired woman, entrepreneur and mother. Her recent InPower podcast with Louise aka @Mybetterself is a perfect example: sharing her story, her atypical journey and her success is her power.
Today, it is with all her team, her partners and her community that Kelly is launching a revolution! We intend to irradiate Paris and France with the beauty of so many women, each one more inspiring, beautiful and strong than the other.
Join the movement and tell your story, the story of your hair or the story of your journey with #MyHairMyPower!
Every woman is unique
The search for visibility through this campaign would not have been possible without the girls and women you see in these spots. Women who look like us, women who look like you. Each one of them has her own story and her own relationship with her hair, but they all have this desire to share their hair construction with society.
It was important for us and for them to tell their vision of beauty and not only to use their image by adding a text. These videos were made by an incredible team, but they were first made by these women. Each of them has her own personality, her credo but also her strong point: sincerity, dream, impact, strength, freedom and self-confidence.
We won't tell you more about the contents, you will discover all this little by little through our communications. To make sure you don't miss anything, don't hesitate to join our community of nearly 200,000 people on Instagram, Tiktok, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube ou LinkedIn !
