Jeanne Roche
02/09/2022

You need to strengthen your hair after your summer activities or you want to get a good start for the new school year. As we know, second good resolutions are often made in September. And what better goal than to (re)find your dream length and strong hair?
A good hair routine will allow you to take care of your hair on a daily basis and give it the active ingredients it needs, but giving it complementary products will also help strengthen it from the inside. In this article, we give you our tips for promoting long-term hair growth and avoiding breakage:

Start with a complete cure

Special growth food supplements

To strengthen the fiber from the inside and maintain the hydration provided by other products, taking 4C food supplements will be more effective.
Rich in vitamins and minerals, they will promote nail and hair growth while strengthening and protecting the lengths. We advise you to take 2 capsules per day and to make a 3 months cure then to make a pause of 1 or month between your various cures to avoid your body to get used to it.
Go to the article for more details on 4C food supplements.

A varied diet

The health of your textured hair also depends on a healthy and varied diet. Each product can contain active ingredients to bring strength and moisture to your hair from the inside:

  • fruits such as oranges, papaya and kiwi, contain vitamin C to prevent breakage.
  • dairy products, vegetables and fruits such as melon, apricot and mango provide vitamin A to promote the production of sebum and thus protect the hair fiber and give it shine.
  • to strengthen and promote hair reproduction, iron is your best ally. You can find it in red meat, beans or lentils.

It is important to note that nutrient deficiencies can be bad for your health and your hair health. But an excess can also have the opposite effect than the one you want, i.e. hair loss and dull hair .... Varying the foods you eat and creating healthy menus will allow you to get all the nutrients you need to keep your body and hair healthy.

Adapting your weekly care routine

Vegetable oil bath

Vegetable oils applied in an oil bath, i.e. on the whole hair for several minutes, will allow to bring directly the active ingredients to the source. You can choose to make a mixture according to your favorite oils and their active ingredients.
With our Sérum Croissance* we have chosen to select 6 plant oils for their complementary, strengthening and soothing active ingredients. Your hair will be stronger, less brittle and shiny.
To practice, you can apply your oils to your hair, wet or not, and leave on for 30 minutes. Rinse with clear water and start your washing routine

Scalp massages

Whether it is during the application of treatments, masks or simply your shampoo, it is important to stimulate blood circulation by massaging your scalp in regular circular motions. The cells will then be oxygenated and revitalized, thus optimizing growth.

The tips of the team Les Secrets de Loly

For hair that is not very porous, you can apply your treatments under a heating cap or a slightly warm towel.
For very porous hair, nourishing treatments will seal in the moisture and protect the fiber.

I want long hair!

*The Sérum Croissance is not recommended for children, pregnant and nursing women because it contains essential oils.
