3 steps to detangle frizzy hair
Textured hair tends to get more tangles than straight hair. You should not detangle them every day , nor detangle them dry as this risks breaking the hair . The frequency of detangling will depend on your washing routine and the hairstyles you are doing. Frizzy hair may tend to tangle more quickly than when tied up.
Remember to always take your time when detangling ! By carrying out the movements too quickly and mechanically, you risk causing breakage on your lengths.
Step 1: Gently detangle your frizzy hair
After washing your hair and rinsing out your shampoo, apply your conditioner . To make detangling easier, we advise you to separate your hair into four parts then start to detangle your hair using your fingers . Then use a suitable brush to continue detangling.
Step 2: Rinse and apply a leave-in and appropriate treatment
After rinsing your hair, apply the Pineapple, Lychee-Blackberry or Vanilla Smoothie to your lengths. This leave-in will nourish and hydrate your hair . If you have multi-texture, in your case, frizzy and curly hair on certain areas of your head then get the Kurl Fusion . This leave-in gel cream will take care of the different textures of your hair. Style your hair using the Magic Twist or your usual style. Finally, dry your hair with a diffuser or in the open air.
Step 3: Protect your hair overnight
If you detangle your hair before bed, we advise you to protect your hair while you sleep . The first step is to tie your hair using a silk scrunchie by making braids or twists to maintain your hydration at night . Then, 2 options are available to you: either you put on a night cap with a silk interior , or you fall asleep on a silk pillowcase . Silk contains natural enzymes that maintain hydration, limit frizz and allow hair care products to work better on the hair. When you wake up, use the Magik Comb to loosen the roots to create a twist out or braid out.
